‘What happens when you keep books off the booklist?’

Presented by: Tamara Sullivan, Deputy Principal, Inner City South State Secondary College

Brisbane South State Secondary College is Queensland’s newest vertical state high school. In collaboration with one of the world’s top universities, The University of Queensland (UQ), the College is setting the new standard in education – readying students to not only keep pace in the new world, but move forward in it with confidence and fulfilment. A key focus for the College is ensuring that technology is used meaningfully to provide richer learning experiences through personalised, collaborative, and integrated learning. As a completely digital school, the session will focus on sharing the College’s learning journey of `what happens when you leave books off the booklist?’, with practical strategies on how to streamline digital platforms through the extensive use of the stylus and Office 365 in such a way that support learning needs now, and for the long term.
